Students Explore Rich History at British Museum

Year 7 students embarked on an enriching trip to the esteemed British Museum, delving into the vast tapestry of human history and culture. The trip, organized by the school’s History department, aimed to provide an immersive learning experience for the students.

The group explored the museum’s extensive collection spanning over two million years of history, showcasing artefacts from various civilizations around the globe. From Ancient Egyptian mummies and Greek sculptures to Mesopotamian relics and Asian art, the visit offered an eye-opening journey through diverse cultures and epochs.

This trip was an incredible opportunity for our students to witness history come alive. They were able to connect classroom lessons to tangible artefacts, fostering a deeper understanding of the past and its impact on our present.

Engagement was high as students took part in thought-provoking discussions and asked questions, gaining valuable insights into the significance of each exhibit. For many, it was a chance to witness firsthand the marvels they had only read about in textbooks.
