The borough’s regional final of Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge 2021 took place on Thursday 25th November with our own Valeria Marra representing The Lammas School.
One of 13 contestants across the borough’s 17 secondary schools, Valeria’s speech titled ‘Stereotypical Society’ hit home, delivering a message of not allowing society to place gender roles into a box.
All at The Lammas School are so proud of Valeria for rising to such a daunting challenge. Not everyone is able to speak confidently to an audience of over 50 people, but Valeria held her own.
