Today our wonderful Year 8 Girls came runners up in the Waltham Forest Cricket Festival.
Competing at the Ekota Hub, in Goodmayes Park, our students played with resilience and determination, working as a team to secure wins against schools across the borough. We are hugely proud of their achievements, and look forward to celebrating their future successes!
Particular thanks to the Griffin Schools Trust’s Sports and Arts Fund Committee whose award enabled us to secure our cricket batting cage earlier this year, which has raised the profile of this fantastic sport giving students regular access at both breaks and lunches.
