This afternoon our Year 7 Orchestra students took to the stage for an outstanding 2026 Summer Orchestra Concert, delivering a brilliant performance on the violin.
The event was a vibrant celebration of the musical journeys these students began just last September. In a wonderful demonstration of our trust community, the Lammas pupils collaborated with Key Stage 2 students from Riverley and Willow Brook Primary Schools. Our Year 7 musicians acted as exemplary role models throughout the day, welcoming the younger students and parents with pride and kindness.
The concert served as an excellent opportunity to highlight the hard work, determination, and progress the pupils have made over the academic year. Performing live requires immense focus, and our students rose to the occasion beautifully.
Since the performance, the school has received widespread praise from parents, carers, and staff. Many commented on the high standard of the music and the exceptional professionalism displayed by the young musicians. This experience has not only celebrated their achievements so far but has also laid strong foundations for their future musical endeavours.
