We are incredibly proud to celebrate the brilliant success of our students at the Jack Petchey Count on Us Mathematics Challenge. Eight of our talented mathematicians recently represented The Lammas School, showcasing exceptional teamwork, sharp problem-solving, and immense enthusiasm throughout a rigorous day of competition.
Faced with complex mathematical puzzles and time-pressured rounds, our students fully embraced the challenge. Their dedication and high-level critical thinking paid off. Out of schools from across the capital, Lammas secured a coveted spot in the finals, standing as one of just five schools in all of London to qualify.
This achievement reflects the shared ambition of our school community, where tradition meets innovative thinking. Our students demonstrated not only their academic capabilities but also their resilience and collaborative spirit.
The grand final is scheduled for 7 July. We extend our warmest congratulations to the team and wish them the very best of luck as they prepare to represent Lammas on the big stage. You have the whole school community cheering you on!
