We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our pupils at both GCSE and A Level this summer, with outstanding results reflecting their determination, resilience, and ambition.

GCSE Results: A Year of Growth and Success

Our Year 11 pupils have excelled, showing strong improvements in English and Maths, with more pupils than ever securing top grades (9–7). Progress scores also highlight the significant value added across all subjects, demonstrating how our pupils have flourished academically and personally.

Among the many success stories were:

  • Khalil, whose impeccable attendance and positive attitude to learning earned him six GCSEs at grades 9–7 alongside strong passes across his other subjects. “It’s been the toughest year, but everything I went through I used as motivation – and it paid off,” he reflected.
  • Ling Ling, who balanced excellent academic performance with selfless service to her community, securing four grades 9–7 and grade 6s in all other subjects. She now looks forward to studying A Levels in Social Sciences, with ambitions in Law or Social Justice.
  • Rayane, one of our top achievers, gained four grade 9s alongside representing the Borough in debating competitions, completing leadership courses, and mentoring peers. He now plans to study A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, aspiring to a career in engineering.

Executive Headteacher Ms Carla Kenny praised the pupils:

“We are immensely proud of every single pupil. These results are a powerful reflection of their talents and dedication. They highlight the inspiring ways in which so many of our young people have overcome challenges – achieving outstanding results while making meaningful contributions to their community.”

Head of Year 11, Ms Martin, added:

“This is about much more than just grades. It’s about growing young people with ambition and integrity. We are proud that 100% of our pupils have secured a Post-16 destination, and we look forward to hearing about their future success.”

A Level Results: Strong Destinations for Our Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form students also achieved impressive results, securing places at leading universities and higher apprenticeships. This year’s destinations include Queen Mary University of London, City University London, University of Kent, University of Westminster, and Middlesex University. Popular degree choices are Law, Psychology, Economics, Sociology, and Nursing.

Standout stories include:

  • Hassnain, achieving A in Business, A in Economics and C in Government and Politics, now progressing to Queen Mary’s to study Economics.
  • Dija, securing A in Maths, B in Business and C in English Literature, and heading to university to continue her passion for Economics.
  • Dhanyaal, with C in Economics, B in English Literature and C in Government and Politics, moving forward to study Law.
  • Tianna, achieving B in Maths, C in Psychology and B in Sociology, and joining Queen Mary’s to study Psychology.

Head of Sixth Form Ms Holme said:

“We are incredibly proud of all that our students have achieved. The entire sixth form cohort have secured post-18 destinations, with the majority progressing to university or higher-level apprenticeships. These results not only reflect academic strength but also the resilience and integrity of our young people. Many have overcome significant personal challenges, and we are thrilled to see them moving on to such exciting next steps.”

Looking Ahead

From Year 11s celebrating their GCSEs to Sixth Formers heading off to university and beyond, our pupils have shown what can be achieved through hard work, resilience and ambition. As a school, we could not be prouder of the Class of 2025. They leave us with the resilience, ambition and integrity that will carry them into the next stage of their education and beyond.
