Ten pupils proudly represented our school, on a recent trip to the London Transport Museum, as part of the Transport for London (TfL) Pioneers programme.
The day began with a careers fair, where pupils explored the wide range of opportunities available within Transport for London. From engineering and urban planning to digital innovation and customer service, the event opened eyes to the diverse pathways for work experience and future careers in the capital’s transport sector.
As part of the programme, Lammas pupils delivered a presentation to other participating schools, showcasing the project they have led since October raising awareness of sustainable travel and promoting a cleaner, greener environment for all.
Following the presentations, pupils explored the museum’s interactive exhibitions before enjoying lunch together.
The day was both purposeful and inspiring, giving pupils a clearer sense of the professional possibilities open to them, and a platform to share the impact they are having within their community. The Lammas School is proud to support opportunities like TfL Pioneers that develop leadership, widen horizons, and empower pupils to shape a more sustainable future.
