A group of students from Lammas School recently swapped their classrooms for the boardroom in a dynamic visit to M3 Property Management Consulting, based in the heart of Liverpool Street. The trip offered a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes of one of the UK’s leading firms in property management and development.

Immersed in the energy of a professional workplace, students took part in a fast-paced “Design Dash” challenge, tasked with designing a bespoke property to meet the needs of a fictional client. Working in teams, they brought together their creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills to develop imaginative, realistic concepts under pressure. The challenge concluded with a formal pitch to members of the M3 executive board, giving students a taste of what it takes to present with impact in a corporate setting.

The experience didn’t end there. Students were given a guided tour of several local developments overseen by M3, with a combined project value of over £40 million. From sleek office blocks to mixed-use spaces, the tour highlighted the scale and complexity of urban regeneration and the critical role of property management in shaping the future of our cities.

The trip opened students’ eyes to the possibilities of careers in property, business and design, and gave them first-hand experience of the skills and confidence needed to thrive in a fast-moving professional world.
