Students recently took part in an inspiring art workshop led by the Royal Navy, combining creative expression with a deep dive into naval career opportunities. The event offered a unique blend of hands-on artistic activity and professional insight into the diverse pathways available within the Royal Navy.
Alongside the workshop, students were introduced to a range of roles across the Navy, from communications and engineering to logistics and medical support. Royal Navy representatives provided clear guidance on entry routes, including apprenticeship and officer training programmes, GCSE and A-level requirements, and the personal qualities needed to thrive in a naval career.
The session was designed not only to showcase the wide spectrum of opportunities but also to highlight the importance of discipline, creativity, and teamwork – qualities shared between military service and the arts.
This workshop is part of our broader commitment to widening studentsā horizons, connecting learning with real-world possibilities, and nurturing ambition.
At Lammas, we continue to ensure that every student can see a future that excites and challenges them – on land, sea, or beyond.
