The Lammas Schoolâs choir proudly took part in the Griffin Childrenâs Chorus’ magical Christmas concert held at the historic St Giles Without Cripplegate, nestled in the heart of the Barbican, London. The event was a wonderful showcase of musical talent from across Griffin Schools Trust (GST), with Lammas students shining as key performers in this festive celebration.
The choir delivered beautiful renditions of classics such as âSilent Nightâ and âHark! The Herald Angels Sing,â as well as more modern pieces like John Rutterâs âCandlelight Carol.â The churchâs grand acoustics provided the perfect setting for the choir’s harmonious voices, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the audience.
The Griffin Childrenâs Chorus aims to foster a spirit of collaboration and musical excellence. This festive concert not only highlighted the incredible talent within Lammas Schoolâs choir, but also celebrated the strong sense of community and shared achievement among all GST schools.
The concert was a proud moment for Lammas School, with students demonstrating hard work, dedication, and exceptional musical ability and we look forward to seeing even more musical achievements from our Lammas students in the future.
