The Lammas School’s choir proudly took part in the Griffin Children’s Chorus’ magical Christmas concert held at the historic St Giles Without Cripplegate, nestled in the heart of the Barbican, London. The event was a wonderful showcase of musical talent from across Griffin Schools Trust (GST), with Lammas students shining as key performers in this festive celebration.

The choir delivered beautiful renditions of classics such as “Silent Night” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” as well as more modern pieces like John Rutter’s “Candlelight Carol.” The church’s grand acoustics provided the perfect setting for the choir’s harmonious voices, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the audience.

The Griffin Children’s Chorus aims to foster a spirit of collaboration and musical excellence. This festive concert not only highlighted the incredible talent within Lammas School’s choir, but also celebrated the strong sense of community and shared achievement among all GST schools.

The concert was a proud moment for Lammas School, with students demonstrating hard work, dedication, and exceptional musical ability and we look forward to seeing even more musical achievements from our Lammas students in the future.
