A handpicked group of Year 8 students had the exciting opportunity to participate in the London Youth Games Inspire Festival, held at the prestigious Lea Valley Athletics Centre. The event focused on encouraging students who may not currently represent the school in sports but have a passion for physical activity.
The Inspire Festival offered a variety of taster sessions designed to spark interest and involvement in different sports. Our students eagerly participated in sessions across a diverse range of sports, including futsal, golf, boxing, squash, hockey, and pentathlon.
Throughout the day, the students were highly engaged, demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored each sport. They actively participated, asked insightful questions, and gained valuable exposure to new athletic opportunities.
It was a rewarding day for all involved, and we are excited to see how this experience may inspire their continued growth and progression in the world of sports. We look forward to supporting their sporting journeys in the future.
