This year, we proudly continued one of our most cherished traditions: the Year 7 trip to Disneyland Paris. To celebrate the success and hard work of our pupils, a group of excited Year 7 students, accompanied by staff, embarked on a thrilling adventure to “the happiest place on Earth.”
The journey began with an overnight trip by coach and ferry, setting the tone for the unforgettable experience ahead. As dawn broke, the students found themselves arriving at the magical gates of Disneyland Paris, filled with excitement and anticipation. For many, this was their first time away from home, making it not just a fun-filled holiday but a learning experience in independence and responsibility.
Throughout the trip, new friendships blossomed, and personal challenges were conquered. The brave among us even faced the heights and thrills of the Tower of Terror, while others embraced the joy of meeting their favourite Disney characters, exploring the enchanting park, and enjoying the incredible rides and attractions.
The final day of the trip took on an educational note as the group toured the heart of Paris. Students learned about the rich history of the Eiffel Tower, built in 1889, and visited the iconic Louvre Palace, a symbol of Franceās revolutionary past. These stops added a meaningful historical context to the trip, blending fun with education.
As the students and staff returned home with cherished memories, we look forward to carrying on this proud tradition next year.
See below for some highlight from the students:
Disneyland Paris was one of my favourite weekends aways ever. The rides in Disney and Disney studios were magical. They made me fall in love with rides more than I already do! It was fun spending time with friends and getting to know your teachers better. My favourite ride had to be The Avengers as it was fast and exhilarating. Also really enjoyed the ferry ride as it was my first time. The hardest part was going to sleep on the coach whilst being so full of excitement!
AyaanThe Disneyland trip was wonderful! It was so great to spend some time with friends in France, it’s honestly a trip like none other, I enjoyed it very much!
