This year was the sixth annual Griffin Sports Festival (GSF), the third one The Lammas School has been involved in since joining the Trust.
In the first week of the festival, we had an Inter-House challenge for Key Stage 3. Students in years 7 – 9 competed in their houses in tournaments of Dodgeball, Sitting Volleyball, Tug of War and Cross Country.
The second week of GSF saw hub competitions in volleyball and basketball between students from Lammas, and neighbouring Trust schools Riverley and Willow Brook. Key Stage 4/5 students from Lammas led coaching sessions with year 5/6 students from Willow Brook and Riverley followed by a round-robin tournament involving year 7 students from Lammas.
Throughout GSF all students were able to participate in extra sports fixtures during lunch and after school.
